REGARDING HOLIDAYS

  1. Arrival time 4pm (unless arranged otherwise), please notify us if you are unable to reach us by 6pm.
  2. Bookings secured by deposit immediately after making booking.
  3. Balance due 6 weeks before holiday.
  4. Cheques payable to 'Loft Holidays'.
  5. Receipts will only be forwarded if requested and s.a.e. enclosed.
  6. Deposits non-refundable unless we can re-let the cottage. Cancellation insurance available from Mrs Trafford.
  7. Coals / logs included in rent for Hall Farm Cottage as well as storage heating (within reason).
  8. Sheets, pillow slips, table linen, towels, tea towels and toilet rolls to be provided by guests. Sheets can be hired on request.
  9. Laundry facilities with washer / dryer and drying room for walkers' outdoor clothing.
  10. Dogs only by prior arrangement.
  11. Off road park for most cars.
  12. May we suggest you bring children's wellingtons !
  DIRECTIONS From South: take M6 Junction 40 (Penrith) and turn off here onto the A66 towards Keswick. Do not turn for town centre. Go directly to the roundabout on the outskirts of Keswick. Take the last turn off here for Carlisle (A591). Travel for 6 miles then turn off right for Bassenthwaite village at the black and white house. It is ½ mile to the village from here. Our farm and cottages are by the white wooden footbridge by the stream in the village.
